4 Smartphone Myths Everyone Believes In

Not everyone understands the world of technology, and sometimes we fall for comments, the same “experts” as we are. And we collect false data in our minds. Not everything we hear from sellers or on TV is true. Here are 4 popular myths about smartphones that are so often believed.

It’s Best to Charge With the Original Charger

This myth has been voiced to by tech store salespeople when they want to sell a more expensive charger. In fact, it doesn’t matter if the charger is original or not. The main thing is that it must be of good quality. So you don’t need to hit a jackpot at National casino to buy the original wires, but you shouldn’t buy a charger for $3, either. It’s better to opt for an option with a medium cost.

Glass Will Protect the Screen in Case of a Fall

Another myth, deeply rooted in the people. There is no guarantee that glass will protect your smartphone if you accidentally drop it. Quite often, users have broken smartphone glass under the glass. And the protection remains intact. This is all due to the fact that the glass can only protect the corners of the screen. If your smartphone will fly to the ground, it won’t help.

The Popularity of the Brand Determines the Quality

The rule works here – expensive means good. But do we really overpay by two times more just for the quality? In reality, budget gadgets cost less because they are assembled in factories from simple parts. The brands just have more modern parts, which doesn’t guarantee quality and reliability. And this doesn’t apply to all parts. Smartphones for $200 and $600 may have the same processor or camera.

The Screen Doesn’t Work Well Because of the Films

If this myth were true, then no one would use films, otherwise why so much inconvenience? Long ago, when smartphones first appeared on the market, they could not always pick up fingers through a poorly glued film. Now all screens are different, they don’t interfere with the film!
