Amazon.in App now available for Windows Phone
New Delhi, India, August 07, 2014: Amazon.in has launched its Windows Phone shopping app. The Amazon app for Windows Phone users in India offers customers a convenient, fast and secure way to search, browse, compare offers, and make purchases quickly and easily, anywhere from a selection of 1.7 crore products. Amazon.in had launched apps for Android and iOS last year.

Amazon’s Windows Phone app allows customers to conveniently shop on the go; they can browse & search for their favorite products and brands, view recommendations & customer reviews, add to wish list & cart, complete the purchase using the available payment options and track the status of their orders. The app’s UI has been custom designed for the Windows platform and is easy to navigate. The app supports barcode scanning for quick price checks. Customers can also pin the barcode scanner to their phone’s Start screens and access it with a single tap.
The Amazon.in app is compatible with Windows Phone 8 and above and is now available for free download on the Windows Phone Store. New customers can sign up for an account using the Amazon App, while existing customers can login using their Amazon.in username and password to access the same account that they use on the website.
