CA Technologies goes green with Annual Earth Day activities
New Delhi, India, April 22, 2014: CA Technologies today announced its annual Green Week of worldwide employee volunteer activities in celebration of Earth Day. Currently in its seventh year, Green Week promotes environmental awareness and supports the company’s sustainability efforts. As part of the program, CA Technologies employees will give time during their work day to nonprofit organizations, and participate in activities like beach clean-ups, tree plantings, trail maintenance and more.
Employee-driven projects will take place throughout the U.S. in locations including Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Bellevue, WA, Cary, NC; East Windsor, CT; Ewing, NJ; Framingham, MA; Ft Collins, CO; Herndon, VA; Islandia, NY; Lisle, IL; New York City, NY; Pittsburgh, PA; Plano, TX; Portsmouth, NH; Santa Clara, CA; Southfield, MI; and Tampa, FL and internationally in countries including Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, Colombia, India, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

“As part of this year’s sustainability efforts we are encouraging employees to use public transport to reduce the carbon footprint and ensure a cleaner environment.” said Venkatraman Subramaniyan, vice president, Software Engineering, who is also the Corporate Social Responsibility champion for CA Technologies, India. “In addition, we are educating employees about the importance of segregating wet and dry waste and running regular recycling and reusing campaigns internally to help create a more sustainable environment for everyone.”
