element14-logoBangalore, India, October 8, 2014: element14, the high-service distributor of technology products and solutions for electronics system design, manufacture and operations will be showcasing at Automation Mumbai their latest from the largest range of development kits available globally from a single source, plus products for Industrial and Factory automation, robotics etc. Products from leading manufacturers globally such as Analog devices, Freescale, Texas Instruments, Amphenol, TE Connectivity, besides test and measurement equipment from Fluke, Tenma, Keystone and Tektronix at  Automation Mumbai, will be held on 15 – 18 October, 2014 at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Ravi Pagar, Regional Director – South Asia, element14 Asia-Pacific said, “Each year we get to connect with our customers at this popular Automation event to demo our newest products from our technology partners and help our customers with newer ideas for their next designs. It is also an opportunity for us to develop insights about newer technologies and solutions our customers are working on, and learn how we can enable them to get their designs to market faster.

Visitors can get hands-on demo at the element14 booth, number H46-47, and learn how using the right ready-to-adapt solutions can help support their automation requirements:

– the high-performance Freescale Freedom FRDM-K22F development kit is the second Freedom board featuring a Kinetis K next-generation microcontroller and crystal-less USB controller.  It is targeted at USB applications that require a high level of integration and the lower-power capabilities of the new generation of ARM Cortex-M4 core.

– the new open source, single board platform Revolutionizing the Internet of Things (RIoT) board, based on Freescale’s i.MX 6Solo processor, and supported by an active Community at element14.

– the Texas Instruments CC3200 Launchpad and CC3100 BoosterPack, a development platform and Wi-Fi device, created for faster and easier implementation of solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT). The CC3200 LaunchPad kit is the industry’s first single-chip programmable microcontroller with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity suitable for applications in cloud connectivity, safety and security, health and fitness, and metering. It features on-board emulation using an FTDI device and has temperature sensors, a 3-axis accelerometer, LEDs and push-buttons.

– BeagleBone Black development platform, based on TI’s Sitara AM3358 processor, features an ARM Cortex™–A8 processor running at 1GHz and an on-board HDMI.

– Raspberry Pi Compute Development Kit, which allows design engineers to harness the power of the Raspberry Pi for embedded applications. The module allows design engineers to use their own interface board that will host the compute module and deliver a smooth experience as they move from prototyping on the Pi through to shipping commercial product in volume.

– the new Raspberry Pi B+ board offers more sensors and accessories enabling users to build bigger and better projects. Advanced power management and enhanced connectivity make it possible to connect power-hungry devices and accessories without needing mains power or an external USB hub.

– TE Connectivity component solutions for Motion and Drives, Material Handling and Industrial Control comprise a broad portfolio of TE products, available through element14

– in addition check out version 7 of the award-winning EAGLE PCB software from CadSoft Computer which brings a modern design environment with increased flexibility, enabling users to develop custom schematics using commercial standard software at a fraction of the cost. New features include an enhanced autorouter with significantly less transition points, resulting in more cost effective and efficiently routed PCBs that require fewer manual interactions.
