Looks and body:

Motorola-Lenovo came up with aggressive premium looks for its new Moto G5 for a decent price range. It has a metallic back panel with plastic inside. It is easy to grip the phone with the curvy edges and as it is a 5-inch screen phone it stays in your hand without slipping. Fingerprint sensor at the front looks as a home button but has many functions packed with it. Overall looks wise, Moto G5 is just as its sibling Moto G5 plus except with its size and slightly altered design. It is good that the phone comes with splash-proof technology which is a trademark of Motorola phones these days.

Configuration and Performance:

Moto G5 sports Qualcomm snapdragon 430 chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz Octa-core process promises a decently fast performance in its price segment. For a normal daily use, Moto G5 is a handy one with a fast processor with its ability to do multi-tasking without any hiccups. Thanks to the well-optimized Nougat (Android 7.0) operating system for enhancing the quality of processing even though it is a low-end processor.

Battery and charging:

Moto G5 comes with a 2800mAH removable battery that gives a battery backup of about a full day almost. Battery seems to be a downside with its above par battery capacity and backup. Thanks to the fast charger given for getting your phone charged quickly on the go. Removable battery is a good advantage for regular phone maintenance purpose.

Camera:

Moto has been a big hit in the segment of photo capturing with its highly efficient camera in all of its phones. Moto G5 comes with the 13MP rear camera and a LED flashlight which captures images exceptionally well even in the low light. It is sure that Moto G5 would not disappoint you in this area as it promises to be the best among others. The front camera is of 5MP and found to be performing well as expected for taking selfies.

Motorola has been a good platform for experiencing the flavors of android every time google releases a new version. Android Nougat comes with lot of excitingly new features from the stock. Split screen, Android assistant are the best features of the operating system and they run butter smooth upon Moto G5. It is good that Moto has made their devices very close to stock who cannot afford buying Pixel or Nexus devices.
