Redmi Smart TV X Series launched
Redmi India announced the brand’s foray into the Smart TV category with the launch of Redmi Smart TV X Series.
XL Display
Redmi Smart TV X Series opens up a whole new world of entertainment and will come in three different size variants 50’’, 55’’ and 65’’ inch. The new TVs come powered with Vivid Picture Engine, an in-house image processing algorithm that provides exceptional color accuracy, color vibrancy and contributes to the ultra-bright display, for stunning visuals in every condition.
The TVs feature a 4K panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160, that provides a vibrant viewing experience. Setting a new standard of visual experience and image quality with true-to-life imaging, Redmi Smart TV X series also come with support for Dolby Vision and HDR 10+. To provide a smooth, blur-free viewing experience the new Redmi Smart TV X Series are equipped with Reality Flow display, that brings Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation to the segment.
XL Audio
Transforming any room into a luxurious home theater with its superior sound quality, Redmi TV X Series comes equipped with 30W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio and support for DTS Virtual:X, a technology that enhances and promises a full immersive surround sound experience. It breathes new life into content and offers features such as bass clarity, surround virtualizer and dialog clarity which can be toggled on and off across any content. It also supports Dolby Atmos via HDMI eARC passthrough to external Atmos soundbars/AV receivers.
XL Performance
The newly launched series features a 64-bit quad-core A55 processor coupled with Mali G52 graphics. The powerful setup, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, enables jitter free and seamless consumption of content. ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) ensures minimal lag, as low as 5ms at 4K 60fps during gameplay via consoles.
XL Software
The new lineup will feature Android TV 10, which offers users easy access to content, services and devices via its extensive platform. Enhanced for better daily use, the line-up will feature the latest version of PatchWall, thereby providing access to over 25+ content partners across 16 diverse languages. It provides an exclusive and Intuitive content experience and comes with unique features such as Universal search, Kids Mode, Smart Recommendations, Live Sports, User Centre and much more. It offers support for Google Assistant and Chromecast built-in.
Making its debut on the Redmi Smart TV X series, Mi Home brings smart home controls to the TV. With the Mi Home app, users can control and monitor all their IoT products, and can enjoy a truly connected experience directly from their TV.
XL Connectivity
Enhancing the viewing experience on next-generation consoles and video devices, the new lineup comes with HDMI 2.1 compatible ports. To deliver higher quality audio, it comes with e-ARC support that acts as a great booster for bandwidth and audio speed. In addition, it sports two USB and one optical port and 3.5 mm jack, to cater to all needs without any compromises.
