VIVO V5s Review
Vivo launched its new smartphone VIVO V5s with 20MP front camera. Focused on the young selfie aficionados, the smartphone offers a perfect combination of technology, design and the overall performance with the unprecedented 20MP front camera and a revolutionary feature, the “Moonlight Camera” that allows users to take perfect selfies in diverse lighting conditions. Today, I am shring my views on VIVO V5s.

Inside the box, user gets Handset, user manual, warranty card, USB charger and MicroUSB to USB cable, SIM ejector tool, and back cover.
Hardware & Design:
V5s boasts sleek lines, with the side panel and back cover meeting in seamless curved edges. It also includes elegant U-shaped cover lines, making it enjoyable to hold – and to behold.
VIVO V5s comes with 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display. which offers pretty good viewing angles and colors look quite vibrant on the screen. V5s offers a technological breakthrough with its faster fingerprint unlocking that unlocks the screen in just 0.2 seconds. It is placed front side of the smartphone.
It runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 and paired with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM, which is expandable up to 256 GB.
It comes with MediaTek MT6750 Octa-core 64-bit processor, which enables a user to achieve lag-free and smooth operations, while gaming and multitasking. It also supports an ‘Eye Protection Mode’ feature that filters out blue light to protect vision and prevents eye strain.
Music lovers will be able to enjoy every beat played on V5 with the custom built AK4376 Hi-Fi audio chip that provides an unparalleled sound quality experience by giving a signal-to-noise ratio of up to 115dB.
All the buttons like the Power and Volume rocker keys are placed on the right side of smartphone. On the bottom, user will find 3.5 mm audio jack, micro USB port for charging and data synchronization of the device with a USB cable. Speaker is also placed on the bottom of the smartphone. Left side of smartphone, a user can insert SIM card. Battery (3000 mAh) is non-removable in this smartphone.
Camera:

It features 13 MP (with auto-focus) rear camera with LED flash. With a powerful 13MP rear camera sensor and PDAF technology, V5s lets you capture every moment in fine detail. It shoots multiple frames in quick succession to create remarkable 52MP photos.
Back Camera comes with some modes like, Ultra HD, Night, PPT, Professional Photo, Slow, and Time-Lapse.

Software & Performance:
VIVO V5s runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Lollipop. Funtouch OS 3.0 comes with custom icons, menus and colourful toggles in the notification bar. There are many preloaded apps in the V5s smartphone like, iManager, iTheme, EasyShare, WPS Office, V-Appstore, WhatsApp, Facebook, Saavn, and others.
Multi-tasking is easy and the user can work on different apps at the same time. Performance is not an issue with this smartphone, It does not lag due to its 4GB RAM. The smartphone also stays cool most of the time. We have played many games on it like, Modern Combat 5, Dead Trigger 2, Asphalt Nitro and others. We have noticed that device does not heat up after extensive gameplay.
Call quality on both SIM cards, in our experience, has been fine. Wi-Fi and 4G networks worked smoothly. It is a VoLTE enabled smartphone, where JIO SIM works fine in our usage.
Verdict:
As for me, it is a good smartphone in the current era. Focused on the young selfie aficionados, the smartphone offers a perfect combination of technology, design and the overall performance with the unprecedented 20MP front camera. Performance is not an issue with this smartphone, It does not lag due to its 4GB RAM.
